About me
Hello there! I’m Ana Sofía from Puebla, México. I’m 20 years old and I am an industrial designer student from the sixth semester at Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla. I love learning new things as well as the way they work and how they can even create new stuff. I really like 3d modeling and building.
Previous work
I have knowledge in prototyping and 3d modeling, I also have knowledge in working with different materials, such as wood, metal, plastics and some biomaterials.
Projects I am proud of
- A set of tables I made combining glass, wood and metal. It was based on three tables with different shapes that could work in different contexts depending on what you needed them for.
- A project intended to work with time management and finding the factors that stresses the individual more through their day. This project named “El aura del tiempo” worked with a dodecahedral figure that’s hollow on the inside, in which you’d have different color coded chips, which represented some of the main aspects that we use our time on through the day. At the end of the day when you’ve put all the chips inside you can turn its light on and it’ll show the combination of colors that happened throughout your day so you can actually know and see what you used your time on in order to work on it.
- I’ve also developed a composite system along with some teammates. This system was intended to work in small spaces such as kitchens, the body was made out of eggshell residue, a bioceramic; it also had steel components for crushing the residues and PLA for collecting the liquid residues.
