About Me

Who I Am

I'm Sonam Pelkeath Lhazin, a 9th grader at the Royal Academy in Bhutan, ethnically from Lhuentse. I love to read, travel, and explore new fun ideas. Fab Academy feels like an entirely new galaxy to me, and I am so excited to dive right in—exploring, making, and navigating this universe of ideas and possibilities.

My Motive to take on this course

As a kid, I loved watching movies—especially those sci-fi or spy-action films where people build cool inventions in their basements. I was fascinated by how they could create their own inventions to solve everyday problems, help friends and family, or just make stuff blow up. I remember thinking, "I want to do that too." But back then, I didn't really know where or how to start. As soon as I heard about this course, it felt like an open door—a way to finally learn and do what I've always wanted. Beyond gaining valuable digital skills like fabrication, design, and coding (which are so important in this modern era), I also believe this course will be a life-transforming experience for me.This course will help me both as a student trying to figure out my goals and as someone who wants to contribute meaningfully as a citizen.
