- Measure the power consumption of an output device.
DC Power Supply
A variable power supply is an electronic device that provides adjustable output voltage and/or current to power and test electrical and electronic circuits.

How to use
- Connect the supply to AC power and switch it on.
- Set voltage and current using control knobs or buttons.
- Connect the load (circuit or device) to the output terminals (usually red = +, black = −).
- Monitor the readings on the digital display.
- Adjust as needed while watching the current limit to avoid overload.
Safety Precautions
- Always start with low voltage and gradually increase.
- Never exceed the rated voltage or current of the connected device.
- Use proper heat dissipation and ventilation.
- Ensure correct polarity before connecting.
- Turn off the supply before wiring changes.
Testing
Dc motor Voltage and Current checking
I connect the DC motor with potentiometer to vary the load of the motor
Set the Voltage as 5V
Run the Motor with actuating the potentiometer and reading the Current value
Amps flucutuate more or less 1 A, it is the safety Amps too.
As we can see the Motor fluctuating maximum upto 1.1A at 5V
V = 5V
I = 1.1A
P = V*I
P = 5.5W
