About me
Hi! I am Tshepho Tshepho-Andrew Keipopele. I work as a Senior Technician at Botswanan International University of Science and Technology based in Palapye. Im resposible for 5 Labs in the Mechanical Engineering Deaprtment. My Duties include academic support for undergraduate and postgraduate students in our Department. Additionally I, with my colleagues offer consulting services to the University community and the industry. We design and build prototypes for reserach projects and also for external companies and individuals requesting for our services.
I previously Worked as a lecturer at Botswana Government Technical Colleges, Botswana College of Engineering & Technology, Maun Technical College and Francistown College of Technical & Vocational Education where I earned my Technical and Vocational Education Diploma.
The projects that we do are very interesting. One particular project was the maitenace of Wealth Creation Equipment which a government initiative to upscale the economy of rural Botswana. We were given a tender to do maintence and one of the highligts was doing maintenace on the 100 ton hydraulic Ram that is used to press bricks
