About Me

Welcome to my corner of creativity and innovation!
I am a Design Engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Botswana, where I now serve as a Teaching Assistant. My passion lies at the intersection of design, technology, and problem-solving, and I am committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in modern design engineering.
During my journey, I have had the privilege of working on several impactful projects, each rooted in addressing real-world challenges.

My Proudest Project: PushAssist Pro

One of my proudest accomplishments is the development of the PushAssist Pro, an Assistive Shopping Device, a project that originated as part of my final year of study. This innovative product was designed to address a significant challenge faced by individuals with mobility limitations—whether due to age, pregnancy, arthritis, or other conditions—allowing them to shop independently and comfortably. The device features a user-friendly design that enables users to stand or sit and push a trolley of any size with ease, fostering inclusivity and independence in shopping centers.

This project earned widespread recognition in 2024, achieving:

  • Second Place at the Botswana World Intellectual Property Day competition, celebrating innovation and the potential for real-world impact.
  • Second Place at the prestigious Orange Summer Challenge, a platform that recognizes technological solutions with the potential to improve lives and empower communities.

The accolades are a testament to the hard work, creativity, and passion poured into this project. Beyond the awards, the impact of this device lies in its ability to bring dignity, ease, and accessibility to everyday tasks for individuals who face physical challenges.
