ABOUT ME

I am Evelyn Cuadrado, I live in Lima, Peru, but my heart is deeply connected to Huancayo, a city in the highlands, 3259 meters above sea level, where I grew up and studied Architecture. It was there that my curiosity about the urban environment led me to conduct research on projects such as Tradición y Modernidad en la Arquiectura del Mantaro , where I was a co-investigator, and Los pueblos Urbanos del Valle del Mantaro, a study I carried out together with architects Juan Tokeshi and Jorge Burga. This work was featured in the DESCO magazine under the title Urban in Peru.

My journey with the Fab Lab began in 2011 when I volunteered for the Fab 7 event. It was a pivotal moment, a spark that ignited my passion for technology and its potential to transform the world. Today, I work as an architect and Fab Manager at Fab Lab iFurniture, and I am also a member of the Woman Designer program.

Art is another of my great passions, and over the years, I have explored muralism and photography. With much love, I lead two of my personal projects: Grullas Design, where I combine craftsmanship with digital techniques to create unique products, and Cuadrado Arquitectos, a space where my architectural ideas come to life independently. Thanks to the support of Fab Lab Peru and Fab Lab iFurniture, I am now part of the Fab Academy 2025 course, a new adventure that excites me, and I am ready to dive into the endless possibilities that technology and creativity offer. Every step is an opportunity to learn and to shape new ideas that connect art, architecture, and innovation.
