I love Art, Music & Cinematic Storytelling
Outside of my design, Film & TV and Multimedia projects in college, I've worked with Little Road Productions making documentaries for RTE, moved on to work in Games Development within Dublin City, then an Artist Print Studio whilst continuing independent projects on YouTube & Instagram @ 'No Purpose Indie'.
My personal projects involve the use of Digital Mixed Media, ranging from Game Engines to Adobe Creative Suite. For larger video projects, I storyboard digitally, shoot footage using characters in game engines, write out a script, record voice over & edit using Davinci Resolve or Unity Timeline/Cinemachine. Thumbnails and Artwork as part of the video or as an individual piece are made in Krita or Procreate. Then I would market these projects myself across several social media platforms.

There are plenty of projects I've made either by myself or a dedicated team that I am proud of, such as my work on 'County Tops' which was nominated 'Best Irish Sports & Adventure Documentary' in Film Festival Australia - but any project that involves narrative design or cinematic game will always be my proudest moments as these are areas I'm extremely passionate about.
Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory
My big break into Games Development was Game Testing on Unity Engine & Released Builds for PC, PS4 & Xbox for a CRPG game named 'Paranoia'. Working with and guiding newer QA Testers. I was assigned to the Narrative team during a crucial time at Paranoia’s final month of Narrative implementation. I pitched creative suggestions to the in-house Narrative Designer on how to add closure to certain character’s stories, including an end-credits secret ending which was greenlit by the owner and implemented. Other tasks included dialogue localisation, FPS Logging, performing in Motion Capture tests & regressions.
FFXI - New Player Experience Series
I dive headfirst into a 20 year old Massive Multiplayer Online game called Final Fantasy XI - Known for it's brutal difficulty, old-school systems and severe lack of handholding with a dedicated community and player base. All to see how the story and world has evolved over the past 20 years, while also making it a fun and educational experience for fans of the series, gamers & non-gamers.
Project Intero
Project INTERO is short cinematic game, created entirely independently in 6 weeks w/ no budget, only using free assets. It was a test to see if I really could do it. If I could make a story by myself in the short amount of time that I had. In the process I found out - Yes! I can do it. It wasn't much, but it was mine. It was all the proof I needed that this is the type of career I want in my life.
Shortly after, I did a Cinematic Artist test for position at Larian Studios. Though I didn’t get the part, this was a big achievement as I had to create this despite being on my mom’s old laptop. Afterward, I took out a loan for a desktop computer of my own and the newly branded channel 'No Purpose Indie' began!
