A creative sabbatical

After 7 years of working as a UX designer, I decided to take Stefan Sagmeister's advice and follow "The power of time off" and take a one-year-sabbatical.

I used to craft user experiences within a digital start-up team for Ottobock, designing for users of mechatronic limbs.

Why Fabacademy in Barcelona?

At Ottobock I worked in a very techy environment, being a designer in an engineer's world. So Fabacademy is a way to challenge myself out of the creative comfort zone. During my master thesis I had stumbled upon the Fabcity concept and swore myself, if I ever would go back to school, I would do this. And who could say no to Barcelona?

Apart from design I enjoy the great outdoors, get lost in the wonderful world of literature, I might be addicted to stationary and my heart beats faster for a delicious cup of coffee.
