Introduction:

Hello everyone, I'm Yassine Louchi, a Mechatronics Engineer with a broad range of skills and experience in software development for robots and hydroponic greenhouses.

Academic background:

I hold a degree in Mechatronics at Hochschule Ruhr West - University of Applied Science and have completed courses and certifications in various areas related to software development and engineering. I worked on the development of a hydroponic greenhouse for gastronomic purposes, where I gained extensive experience in closed cultivation environments, programming algorithms to optimize plant growth, and designing and implementing PCB control units.

Professional experience:

I was responsible for leading the project during my internship, where I programmed algorithms for closed cultivation environments, designed and implemented PCB control units, and led the team in the development and optimization of the hydroponic greenhouse. I also gained experience in entrepreneurship through various workshops, including HRWIncubate, where I learned basic soft skills for starting a company. Additionally, I co-founded Grow2Cook, a company specializing in automated modular greenhouses for high-end gastronomy. The company enables season-independent, resource-saving, and sustainable cultivation through intelligent control technology.

Expertise in software development:

I have extensive experience in software development, including programming in C, C++, Python, HTML, Java, JavaScript, and Rust, as well as the architecture of common microcontrollers.
