All About me 💗

Hello World. My name is Ugyen Lhamo. I am 21 years old. I am from central Bhutan (Bumthang). I completed my high school from Desi high school(Thimphu,Bhutan.) Although I couldn't continue my education but I never gave up grabbing opportunities in different fields. after completing my studies I joined de-ssung family "guardian of peace". De-ssung;a Royal Initiative bringing together volunteers in service of the nation During pandemic,people in our country were in huge lost. most of the youth got jobless and for me i could not get a proper job as well. The pandemic also had disproportionate impact on the Bhutanese employed in the tourism sector leading to lay-offs and temporary closure of tourism businesses and other tourism related enterprises. i did not have better option to join de-ssug and serve my country and my self as well.

These are my high school memories(Award of badges to the school counsellors) A proud moment for me indeed. With our school principal and other teachers. So when i was in 12 grade I served as a games and sport counsellor.I remember spending most of my high school days playing basketball with my friends and seniors. Since basketball has always been my favorite game and it is still now. During my high school days the only best part was that I served as a games counsellor and helped my school win lots of Trophies during inter-school sports meet. I used to go as an escort with the students and even as a school player. Representing my school proudly.

Another proud moment in my life. Joining De-ssung family. it was a memorable one month training.I was placed to do my training at Samtse ( southern part of Bhutan) luckily it was during winter so it was not that hot nor cold with a ambient weather. For one month we were trained on life skills, we were to face any kinds of troubles, Drills same in army. We were even taught on wild life survival which was the craziest of all. We had to taste eatable food and animals.Inorder to survive on our own. We were even given experience on firing wepons and experienced rock climbing, rafting and all.For one whole month we were engaged and one imporatnt thing I learned was time management. We were given only five minutes to change dress and only five minutes to present in the drill ground.That was the tough thing to do. but if you are determined nothing is impossible.

Back in 2020 till 2022 mid

After completing 47th Batch I directly joined quarantine duty at Hotel Legphel Phuntsholing,Southern part of Bhutan(Chhukha). For almost a year in different hotels and deal with different people. I was then deployed to serve people with positive cases , at first I was little scared since a country like ours had only few knowledge on COVID 19 and during that difficult hours dessups were the one to volunteer and help the nation. being a dessup I vowed to serve my country without any concern to myself. so i decided to do duty in isolation wards at hotel legphel(phuntsholing,Chhukha) after that i came back to Thimphu and did school duty at pelkhil high school for almost a year. After the pandemic situation got normal: duties at schools, hospital and government offices were lifted. after that i did pre-fab skilling at Taba for one month and a week training.

Why fab academy

For me fab academy was completely a new thing although I just completed pre-Fab-lab course in De-ssung (Guardian of peace). I completed my pre fab course at Choego fab lab at Taba,Thimphu (Capital of Bhutan) De-ssung skilling programme. For me that one month course was very fun learning. I enjoyed learning electronic productions, Software designing,web site editing and many more.We were taken to Super Fab-lab to learn about new and big big machine. We were given one month basic training by our Instructor Acho Drugyel and Acho Thinley (Our Fab Guru) Who always encouraged us that nothing is impossible and made us feel so much like a family than of trainees. It was so much convenient and comfortable to interact with our instructor. My fab journey was really interesting. I feel that taking fab academy was my best decision since it was the right platform for me to prove that you can do anything if you have the willingness.Although it was just for a month we were trained for fab academy, among 10 of us only 2 were selected from Desuung office. which was me and my friend Karma Lhakee.She has always been there for me since Pre fab and still helping me in fab academy too, clearing my doubt and once best thing about her is that she would always encourage me to do things which i was always unsure about. she has been a great friend to me.Beside my training,I have always enjoyed every single moment with her.

My hobbies.

I have always loved to play basketball since i was 11 years old in fifth grade. My interest with basketball was developed when I joined the winter coaching in the year 2013. And till my high school days I have always loved this game. After my high school it's been a while i haven't been playing it with my work of life.My Love for food has always been crazy.😄 I would always check out new cafe at town and try out different types of foods and desserts.During my leisure time I would spend time playing mobile Legend. It is an online game I have been played after completing my 12th grade. Though I am not that good at playing mobile legend but i have always enjoyed this game. During weekends I would spend time with my 5 years old dog who is my pass time when i stay at home.And my favorite series is Anime. I really love watching anime series on netflix and my favorite anime series is "Jijutsu Kaisen" from there Gojo is my favorite anime characters.So my another pass time is instagram th only social media platform i am addicted to it. you can even add me on Instragram

Attending class lectures and participating in reviews
Developing and documenting projects assigned to introduce and demonstrate skills
Allowing the Fab Academy to share my work (with attribution) in the class for purposes compatible with its mission
Honestly reporting on my work, and appropriately attributing the work of others (both human and machine)
Working safely
Leaving workspaces in the same (or better) condition than I found them
Participating in the upkeep of my lab
Ensuring that my tuition for local and central class costs is covered
Following locally applicable health and safety guidance
Promoting a respectful environment free of harassment and discrimination
