                              WHY FAB ACADEMY?

I currently am the FabLab Manager of Jigme Wangchuck Power Training Institute, Geleyphug Fablab and responsible for operation and management of the lab and therfore I expect to learn more about FabLab to leverage our lab to become innovation hub in TVET sector.Fabrication Laboratory was new concept for me until I got appointed as FabLab Manager of Jigme Wangchuck Power Training Institute in 2021. Since then I have been involved in this aspects including from establishment of JWPTI FabLab to installation & commissioning of other labs across Bhutan. Subsequently, I had an opportunity to attend FabZero program, PreFab Academy and now undergoing intensive FabAcademy course. After completion of the course, I look forward to learning to operate all the machines available in the lab which could enhance my relative skills, knowledge and attitude in this dimension an so that I can replicate this training in our own institute to provide space for tech enthusiasts. I would like to turn this training into one of the best and successful outcome which would ultimately assist me in running the lab.
