Project Development
Task for Week 18
- Assignment
- Complete your final project, tracking your progress:
- Q. What tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?
- Q. What's working? what's not?
- Q. What questions need to be resolved?
- Q. What will happen when?
- Q. What have you learned?
- I completed designing and milling my final project board with microcontroller as ATTINY1614.
- I've designed the housing/head of the Shoo Boar and also the tripod using Fusion 360.
- Programmed the LDR with the LED Strips.
- Laser Cutting the head and CNC milling the Tripod done!
- 3D printed the casing of the LED lights.
- Soldered and Tested the Final Board.
- I've to make the speaker work with the PIR sensor!!!
- Designing and 3D printing the cases of the components.
- Arranging the components in the Housing and wiring.
- Have to compile both the codes and try to run it together
- Beautification like painting and Adding parts to the Head of the Shooo Boar.
- The Board works properly.
- LED Strips are working well with LDR.
- Laser cut and CNC milling parts came out well
- PIR sensor working well too.

What questions needs to be resolved?
- Need to make the mini Dfplayer which I got from Rico to work with the Speaker so that I can play mp3/wav sounds from the speaker.
- If time permits I've to design/ mill a new board since the existing one is not able to retain the codes.
What will happen when?

What have you learnt?
Fab Academy has been a turning point in my life. I've never been interested to learn more before joining Fab Academy. Every week was new and refreshing, which made it even more exciting.
- I learnt how to use digital fabrication tools and technologies such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and microcontroller.
- I also learnt about designing and engineering principles, electronics, programming, and project management.
- I've learnt how to design PCB using EAGLE and milling using SRM20.
- I've learnt the importance of documenting and keeping record of your work in a daily basis.
- I've learnt about different sensors and interfaces.
