Plan for Dissemination of My Final Project

Intellectual Property

  • Intellectual property refers to the legal rights that protect creations of the mind, such as inventions, artistic works, and symbols. These rights allows the creators to have control over how their creations are used and to prevent others from using them without permission.
  • There are four main types of intellectual property :-
  • 1. Patents

  • A patent is a type of intellectual property that gives the inventor of a new product, process or machine exclusive rights to make, use, and sell their invention for a certain period of time. This protection is granted by the Government and is intended to encourage innovation by allowing inventors to profit from their ideas.
  • Some examples of patented inventions include the telephone, the light bulb, and the airplane.
  • 2. Copyright

  • Copyright is a legal protection that gives creators of original works, such as books, music, and movies, exclusive rights to control how their works are used, distributed and copied. This protection is granted automatically and lasts for a certain period of time, depending on the type of work.
  • 3. Trademark

  • A trademark is a symbol, word, phrase, or design that is used to identify and distinguish the good or services of one company from those of another. It is a form of intellectual property that provides legal protection to the owner of the trademark and helps consumers identify and choose products they trust.
  • Examples of trademarks include the Nike "swoosh" symbol, the McDonald's golden arches, and the Apple logo.
  • 4. Franchises

  • A Franchise is a type of business model in which a company( the franchisor) allows another party (the franchise) to use its trademark, business model, and operational systems in exchange for a fee. This allows the franchisee to operate a business under the franchisor's brand and benefit from its established reputation and customer base.
  • Examples of franchises include McDonald's, Subway, and 7-Eleven.
  • Licensing

  • The main idea behind my project is to help the farmers who are effected by wildlife and to create a project that is cheap and effective too. Therefore, I chose to use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International(CC BY-SA 4.0)
  • Traces
  • This license lets others remix, adapt, and build upon your work even for commercial purposes, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms.
  • Project Presentation Development

For the project presentation I have to prepare a summary slide(presentation.png, 1920x1080 format) that will be used along a minute video (presentation.mp4, 1080p HTML5, <= 1 minute, <=10 MB). I made the slide with the help Canva.com and the video using Adobe Express
