About the Residency
Design Residency at Aruba 👣
Starting on the 12th of September, I will be for three months working on a design residency at (Brenchie’s lab - Aruba)[https://brenchies.com/].
The problem
(Plastic Beach Party)[https://www.plasticbeachparty.com/] weekly collects plastics from different companies and interest points on the island.
The main source of plastic waste on the island comes from PET. Up to 60% of the waste collected by the team is plastic bottles / single-use packaging.
Roadmap
During the residency, I will cooperate with the fantastic team researching processes on how to recycle PET into new circular products.
In order to have good documentation of the work. I will follow this outline for the development of each challenge.
