About me:

Welcome to my webpage documenting my participation in the Fab Academy 2023. My name is Lisa Schilling and I am 21 years old. I am currently in the eigthth semester of my degree program Media and Computer Science at Hochschule Rhein-Waal in Kamp-Lintfort, Germany. I started university right after my "Abitur" and I will finish my studies in 2024. I moved to Kamp-Lintfort at the end of 2022 to be closer to university. After my bachelor's degree I would like to continue with my master's degree and afterwards go abroad for at least one year.

I'm creative person and I have a strong interest in design and art. I also enjoy tinkering and programming (hence the study program c: ). In my last semester I participated in the course "Fundamentals of Digital Fabrication" taught by Daniele Ingrassia. The course taught me many new things in such a short time and finally made it possible for me to work in my university's FabLab! Fab Academy was also introduced to me as a result of participating in FODF. I am very greatful for the opportunity and I am looking forward to learning even more about digital fabrication the following 20 weeks! (◕ᴗ◕✿)

Digital art is one of my hobbies:

I work with an iPad + Apple Pencil in a program called Procreate. I enjoy painting semi-realistic art. One image takes me between 15-30 hours to finish.
