Nice to meet you.
I'm a multiple designer and architect. I'm passionate about exploring different ways of manufacturing, fashion accessories, paper sculptures, art. I use digital fabrication as a medium. And I work in low poly design, stained glass and fusions. I also develop in art direction for audiovisual productions.
I'm from Peru and I live in the capital Lima. My country is full of resources, materials, ancient techniques of crafts and cultural expressions. It really is a place to get inspired. Over time, after my professional training as an architect, I felt in the search of how to combine technology, design and handicraft techniques. Finally, I learn, mix and combine all these skills in a personal, versatile creative process that allows me to continue creating.
I participated in the "3D FASHION WEEK 2020", it is a Sustainable Fashion Show with Technology, which brings together designers and Innovators from Peru, Latin America and Europe. The event is organized by Fab Lab Peru and Fab Women. Vitraux Wearing - Multi Identity is a collection where my cultural identities emerge and coexist to express themselves. It presents a set with a HAT printing in 3D as the main accessory; of Chinese typology, with African symbols structured like a stained glass window. A beautiful mix that is born from delving into the origins of my ancestors: Afro, Chinese and Italian.
I participated in the “PERU 3D FASHION WEEK 2021”, In times of slavery, old Afro-Latin women used tight braids that drew on their hair the escape routes of the slaves to the shelters (“Palenques”), an invented linguistic complex and assimilated by this imprisoned community, which allowed them to hide entire maps, messages, and even seeds within their braids. My designs show the reinterpretation of these braided routes and beautiful Afro prints in selected and reused fabrics. Action that aims to be a means of vindication, consolidation and healing of the relationship of the Afro-descendant community with its nature.
Low poly design has become a creative outlet and a professional endeavor that brings me great satisfaction. The process begins with detailed product design, which constitutes about 90% of the work. This stage allows for exploration of geometric patterns and aesthetic combinations that make each design unique. The manufacturing process, utilizing a laser cutter, transforms these designs into tangible products with precision. The result is a marketable product line, catering to a wide audience who appreciate modern, minimalist aesthetics. Beyond product design, I apply the same low poly technique to develop bespoke event backdrops.
As a designer, I work in diverse creative fields that integrate spatial, like architecture and interior design.
I do research in the area of product and retail design, exploring trends and technologies to create innovative.
