About me
My name is Juan Carlos Cano and I am a fan of free technologies (Hardware and Software), I believe that future of education should be based on free knowledge and philosophy of DIY.I am a member of the Association Xtrene, a small makeSpace with an year of life than has four 3D printers (Prusa I3, RepRap BCN,...), different material of basic electronics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ... We offer free workshops for young students. We get our funds through events and Crowdfunding.
I have two titles Higher Level, Development of Computer Software and Web Application Development. I am currently pursuing Degree in Engineering in Information
and Communications Technology in UNED (Open University).
This year I am working in the IT department of my town hall (Almendralejo).
Our association aims to create a Fab Lab in our region (Extremadura). We are informing different authorities and companies to work together with
the creation of this space.
