In this week, I had trying to Tinkercad, sketchup and illustrator.

3D desigh in sketchup

• To make it easier to suction darts pay, I designed a dock, so the final project "darts" in the placement angle is more suitable for play

  • I use sketchup several features to complete this work
    • retangle tools: make a 130mm * 330mm rectangular
    • push / pull tool: the rectangular boxes up, becomes 130mm * 330mm * 40mm rectangular
    • line tool: select the top edge of a line box, boxes need to draw lines, with "push / pull" tool to push down the production of complete central recess
    • Select the line below, the box is deformed into a trapezoidal cube
    • 3D Text tool: Enter "Dart Game", choose the appropriate font and font size, it fit in just dragging out ramp
    • tape measure tool: Check the length and breadth to confirm whether the segment is deformed in the process of making an error
    • extension warehouse in solid inspetor plug-in, the file is output to the CNC or 3D printer before checking whether the broken surface or other problems

(Abandon) 3D degign in Tinkercad

I design a draft design of my first final project proposal. I am tring to build a door bell for Fablab Tainan. Therefore, a door bell have two button, one for the vistor, another button is for the post man.

2D deisgn in illustrator

• because my final project dart game have some I am trying to use illustrator to draw a target shield to prevent the dart shoot into wrong area.
• I use some simple tool to finish this design:
  • Use the "Oval Tool" to add a new round
  • After selecting the components, through "deformation" to adjust the element position, and adjust the "width" and "high"
  • After the different elements overlapping staggered, select the "pen tool" in the "new anchor", do not click on the line and then remove it
  • For laser cutting machine demand, adjust line thickness is 0.025pt
