MOLDING AND CASTING

Molding started of with a red light as our urethane mold compound had ran the course of its shelf life meaning I had to find an alternative to that. Modeling clay looked to be a good replacement.

I designed the model using coreldraw in to 2D after which I converted to 3D/2.5D using partwoks them machined the part out.

I then created a negative of the design on the modeling clay after which I powered in the hydrostone paste and after a couple of minutes it was done.
