APPLICATION AND IMPLEMENTATION

For the final project I'm looking at making a clone of one of the game consoles from the 70/80s. I have taken a look at couple of project particularly that of Vinod. I find this to be an interesting challenge in understanding the working of the tv system and interfacing to it as an output.

The project will requre very few component which are a microcontroller, a crystal, 5 buttons, a power switch, a regulator and a couple of resistors & capacitors and a housing. All these would cost a few $$$.

The process for getting to the final product will involve design, fabrication, population and programming of the elecronic board and the design and fabrication of the housing. The softwares I intend to use are eagle for the circuit development and coreldraw for designing of the housing to be cut-out on the vinyl cutter and laser cutter respectively. Hopefully this will all be done within 5 or so days. after which i'll just test it on a PAL tv system.
