Invention, Intellectual Property, and Income

This Week's Objective

Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project

License

The scope for this week is to discuss the way I intend to preserve my invention and intellectual rights. My intention since the beginning of Fab Academy was to share my results with the open public, provide my discoveries and try to contribute to the community through my own learning process. For this reason, I tend to stick to a license, which allows anyone to copy and distribute the content as well adapt, remix or transform. To choose my lisence , I use the CC License Chooser a chooser of Creative commons which is very useful tool for makers and any developer in any field.it helps authors keep and manage their copyright on terms they choose.

Plan of Dissemination

For my final project, I am planning to:
  • Test the project in Fablab
  • Test and develope though workshops in universities and other fablabs
  • Try every tile to enhance and update the project
  • Try to make it cheaper
  • It will be very motivating also, if I find a company that starts to produce my printer with a symbolic price that allows it to become more and more used but for me ,I don't intend to make profit from this in any way.

    The slide presentation V1

I really wanted to make a presentation with pictures of the working steps and the processes used. I will change this presentation as soon as I have access to the fablab and I start the fabrication of my first prototype.
