## Personal Background I am a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for digital fabrication, electronics, and the intersection of hardware and software. My journey into the world of making and engineering started with a combination of curiosity and a why not mentality I guess. I grew to learn to reverse engineer stuff unknowingly and the kick off was a , not a machine, but a simple html website with a marquee news banner in 2007 as far I remember, and one trick which kept me going, right click >view source. At a young age it felt like power, but later on it proved to pull me towards a road trip to "view source" of multiple fields. I majored in Mechanical Engineering in 2011 at Jordan University of Science and Technology, graduated in 2016 with an "acceptable" average, but a portfolio of practical projects. My first endevour was creating a chat .exe software which guided an engineering students to what the pre-requistes and courses they qualify for according to their university serial number, I barely passed C++ but I got the program up and running. Along my university years I learned to read and soft-code web-applications. The obvious question would be...where's the mechanical stuff? To what was possible then I was doing excavator prototypes, barbeques, Engine models and a lot of Shigley design book reading. I set out to spend my first 5 years in manufacturing and production where I oversaw and designed multiple sub-products or took the lead in creating on call requests to a full product (under a lot of pressure). The challenge to tackle large scale vehicles , from dump trucks , to military grade solutions (Classified for suspense only). The design/production cycle became a locked in mentality and rapid prototyping became a daily. In 2019/2020 I was a full time workaholic and co-founded my first SaaS company, which just added an extra layer of lean and agile skill sets, I juggled a lot of balls when I look at it now, because somehow I maintained my engineering focus and extended my mechanical "steel" design capabilties to work with various engineered systems, then it was a matter of time where I started working in companies and creating optimized workflows correlated to all the engineering outputs while always landing a designer role in parallel. My juggle matured to a focused plan when in 2022 when I met my wife, her passion reminded me of my own..which was to create things and everything that leads to that passion (apparently a lot of documentation is one of them.) To cut things short, the experience I had along with the inspiration I learned to perceive, proved me answering why nots, is more possible than ever. I applied twice to the FabAcademy and I was fortunate enough to be part of it this year, where I am still learning and growing a more resillient mentality to tackle more and to make more. And to document more.
