Hi, I'm Nicole, an industrial designer primarily interested in social and sustainable design as tools for generating a positive impact. I'm motivated to create solutions that improve people's lives and promote responsible practices.
I am currently an Industrial Design student at Ibero Puebla. I like to do various types of projects where I learn from different disciplines and experiment with new things.
01 — Tlaolli
Tlaolli was born from the needs of small-scale corn farmers in San Mateo Ozolco, Puebla. Through a co-design process, the need for an efficient, practical, and accessible storage system for everyone in the community was identified.
Its operation was redesigned with a rectangular tubular steel base for ergonomic height, plus a 3D-printed dispenser with a lever mechanism — adaptable to any plastic container. This project aims to contribute to the food sovereignty of the farmers.
02 — VAIVÉN
A modular furniture system developed in response to a need identified in single-person households. These households, with their limited space, often have reduced storage areas, leading to disorganization and chaos.
Based on Fogg's behavioral principles (color as a trigger for new habits) and the principle of verticality, the furniture maximizes space through vertical distribution.

03 — Viendo al sol
A resting chair inspired by organic shapes, including a multifunctional small table that can be used as a footrest. The design explores how furniture can respond to the human body's need for rest while maintaining an elegant, nature-inspired form.
