About me
About Me
Hi! My name is Oscar, and if I had to define myself with one main characteristic, it would be curiosity.
I really enjoy learning new things, especially understanding how things work, and that curiosity has guided most of my professional and personal path.
I’m an Industrial Engineer with experience in energy systems and IoT networks, combining hardware, software and real-world problem solving.
Outside of work, I’m a very active person. I enjoy paragliding, sailing, music, mountains, and skiing, as much as working in a lab or experimenting in front of a computer.
I’m a maker by nature: I design, prototype, break, fix and improve things. Below are some examples of personal maker projects I have developed:
Maker Project 1
Maker Project 2
Always learning, sharing knowledge, and turning ideas into real objects.
Previous work
Previous Experience
Throughout my professional career, I have worked across different sectors, gaining a broad and practical perspective on technology and its real-world applications.
I have experience in the energy industry, where I have been involved in projects related to energy systems, monitoring, efficiency and optimization. This work allowed me to understand complex infrastructures and their interaction with both hardware and software solutions.
In parallel, I have worked in the telecommunications sector, participating in the design, deployment and maintenance of communication networks. These projects strengthened my skills in networking, IoT systems and reliable data transmission in real environments.
Beyond the industrial and technological fields, I have also participated in international cooperation projects with NGOs in Africa. These experiences were especially meaningful, as they focused on applying technology in resource-limited contexts to support local development and social impact.
These diverse experiences have shaped my way of working, combining technical rigor, adaptability and a strong motivation to use technology as a tool for positive change.
Cooperation Projects
Some of the projects I feel most proud of are my cooperation initiatives carried out in Africa, where technology was applied with a clear social and human impact.
In these projects, I designed and built energy systems and water purification installations, adapting technical solutions to local conditions and available resources.
The work was carried out in Senegal and Ethiopia, in collaboration with NGOs and local communities, focusing on sustainability, reliability and long-term impact.
These experiences deeply shaped my professional and personal perspective, reinforcing my belief in technology as a powerful tool for social development.
