WEEK 13 MIDTERM
During this week, the work planning focused on reviewing the notes that my instructor, Nuria, had previously made on my Nueval page regarding earlier assignments.
The fact that I have gradually improved my knowledge of HTML and CSS has allowed me to refine the earlier assignments, making them cleaner and much easier to read, with more structured explanations and images arranged in a way that improves the overall visual presentation. Honestly, considering that I had no knowledge of HTML back in January, I am now starting to feel satisfied with the results.
This was also the week in which I met with my global evaluator, who pointed out that I need to speed up the development of my final project, since I currently have very little progress on it. I hope that during my vacation week in May I will be able to address this issue.
The planning for the final project could be as follows:
- Design and fabricate two electronic boards: one for the remote control and another for the pumping unit.
- I already have the pump and the valve that will be integrated into the pumping unit. The idea is to scan them in 3D in order to design the structure that will house these components, as well as the electronic board and a transformer that will allow powering the system from the 220V mains supply, converting it to 5V for the electronics and 24V for the pump and valve.
- Design and 3D print the remote control enclosure, which will contain the electronics that will communicate wirelessly with the pumping unit, a display, a button to start the system, and batteries for power supply.
- Assemble a final structure to integrate all components and prepare the system for presentation.
