About Fab Lab León

Fab Lab León is a community-based digital fabrication laboratory located in the city of León, Spain. The lab offers access to a variety of tools and equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines, as well as a range of workshops and educational programs. Its mission is to provide individuals with the skills and resources they need to turn their ideas into reality, whether it be for personal projects, entrepreneurial ventures, or social innovation initiatives. Fab Lab León is part of the global Fab Lab network, which aims to democratize access to technology and promote innovation through community-based learning and collaboration.

The Poderosas program is another free initiative at Fab Lab León that aims to empower young girls and women by providing them with the skills and resources they need to start their own businesses or pursue entrepreneurial ventures. The program offers workshops on topics such as design thinking, business planning, and financial management, as well as mentorship and networking opportunities. The goal of Poderosas is to create a community of female entrepreneurs who can support and inspire one another.

fab lab leon also has a training program for young students from 7 to 18 years old, in which they learn all the techniques and machines necessary to do almost anything. More than 100 girls and boys participate in this continuing learning program
