Fab Lab Armenia¶
This is my Fab Lab node, located in a small town in Armenia, called Dilijan. Photo taken throughout the first week of Fab Academy.
More about Fab Lab Armenia here.
About me you can read here, and on my LinkedIn page.
And here’s a tourist info center, called GoToDili.
Dilijan, Armenia¶
*In the photo is the Dilijan Cinema building, constructed in the 70s, during the Soviet Union. The cinema currently is non-operational, instead, there is a supermarket occupying the ground floor.
Dilijan is located about a 100km from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. On your route from the capital city you will enjoy views of different terrains, pass by the lake Sevan, one of the world’s largest freshwater alpine lakes. And before you arrive in Dilijan, you will wind over the serpentines taking you to the valley, sorrounded by dense forests, and high mountains.
Dilijan’s weather varies significantly by season, offering different experiences, and covering all four seasons – misty spring and a cool, breezy summer. In autumn, the landscape transforms into vibrant forests, while in winter the mointains are covered in snow.
