About me

Hi! My name is Sierra Nieves. I am a freshman attending Wheaton College in Norton Mass and plan to major in Graphic Design. I aspire to join the marketing world in the following years after college. I hope this course can expand my knowledge of the design field and help my portfolio stand out from the crowd.

Previous work

Prior to Fab Academy, I have pursuid my love and passion for graphic design and creative media. I attended CRTC at Concord High School, gaining college credits for my two years of learning in that course. I also attended ASP at St. Pauls High School and graduated from that in the summer of 2023. That experience provided me with the knowledge needed to complete my college essays and my drawing and painting course gave me a variety of options for my arts portfolio.

Project A

One project I am particularly proud of is my senior seminar project. This was a project that allowed you to freely decide on a project as long as it fit in the time and documentation constrains. The following project is my art therapy project. This is a 5ft mixed media piece including sculpting and painting. This piece not only represented the constraints of life, but served as a therapeutic piece itself. This project stayed in my room and was added to whenever I felt I needed an artistic escape from reality.
