My Final Project (first Idea)
This is where I will start defining my final project idea and start to get use to the documentation process.
Research
The idea that I came up with for my final project is a floral lamp that opens and closes with a light that slowly dims to help you go to sleep. It would be on a timer system so it would be on for an hour and slowly dim with the petals slowly closing to help you get ready for bed. Almost mimicking the sun setting which makes us know it is night and time for rest.

I changed my idea to make something that was more interesting to me, so I decided to make a sword based on Cloud's Buster Sword from Final Fantasy.
What im going to use
I'm going to use cardboard and laser cut the design I made out. Then I’m going to layer the cardboard so that I can build the body of the sword. I’m going to leave a space in the middle for my circuit board. The hole in the sword is where I’m going to put an LED ring, which I’m going to program to change colors when I push a button in the handle of the sword.
Then I’m going to use PVC pipe to give the sword structure and support since it is going to be about 4 feet long. Then I’m going to use drywall compound to smooth everything together and then paint over it to make the design on the sword. I got my idea on how to build the sword through two different YouTube videos, which I’m going to link at the bottom of the page.
