Dissemination Plan
The dissemination plan focuses on sharing the outcomes and potential of this prototype beyond the scope of the current course. As a foundation for a more advanced project, this initiative aims to raise awareness about the challenges of apraxia and promote the integration of adaptive animatronic tools in therapeutic contexts.
The project is not intended to replace professional therapy, but to complement it by offering a flexible, patient-centered support system. Dissemination efforts will target educational communities and innovation networks—particularly within Universidad Iberoamericana—to inspire students and researchers to continue its development or initiate similar projects.
Future dissemination strategies may include:
- Open-source sharing of non-sensitive components for collaborative improvement
- Participation in grants and innovation calls focused on assistive technology
Future Posibilities
The team plans to participate in funding opportunities and calls for proposals to enhance the overall performance of the project. Below are some of the improvements that are intended to be implemented:
- Add a vision system to the animatronic.
- Integrate artificial intelligence to enable real-time correction of the patient's posture and facial expressions.
- Include additional servomotors around the face to enhance expressiveness.
- Implement movement in the eyelids and neck.
- Improve the user interface to ensure more intuitive interaction.
