About Emmanuel Angeles Barreto

Hi! I am Emmanuel Angeles Barreto. I am a student of Communications and Electronics Engineering at Universidad Iberoamericana in Puebla, Mexico. I am currently in the sixth semester of my degree program.
I am from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. Something about me is that since I was young, I've always loved to compete. I participated in soccer tournaments throughout my childhood and teenage years. This continued until school consumed all my time, but I always hope that I can return to playing like I used to. Another activity I practiced extensively was swimming, as I took swimming lessons since childhood. I believe this helped me build the endurance needed to play soccer at the level I reached.
My family is large and I am here thanks to them - my brother Luis Manuel, my sister Yesenia, my mom Getzabel, and my father Juan Manuel. Each of them represents a pillar in my life. I know my life has been interesting because nothing I've done has been easy, but thanks to them I've overcome challenges and I'm fortunate to have them.

Previous work
When I was in middle school, we had a 'robotics' class where they mainly taught us how to give instructions to a robot in a different way from the main program, and later we had to replicate it in the main program. Later in high school, I was able to create basic mobile applications. I enjoyed these topics so much that I decided to pursue my current major.
Projects that I´m proud of:
- Digital Design of Hexagonal Structure for Side Impact Absorption in Low-End Automotive Vehicles
- Remote-controlled car using a microcontroller
