dissemination plan

I didn’t initially plan to sell my product. My primary goal was to use it as part of a university project, focusing on its development, functionality, and potential impact. At this stage, I’m more interested in exploring its possibilities, gathering feedback, and understanding how it performs in real-world scenarios. Based on the results and overall reception, I’ll evaluate whether it makes sense to scale it or pursue commercialization in the future. For now, I’ve chosen to license the project under Creative Commons Attribution (BY), which means others are free to use, modify, and share it, as long as they give appropriate credit. This approach supports collaboration and knowledge sharing while still recognizing the work I’ve put into creating it. I believe this open model can foster innovation and help others who might want to build upon the idea or adapt it to their own needs.

Future improvements

In the future, I want to develop new prototypes for wearables with different functionalities, building on the foundation of this project. I’m interested in exploring additions like RGB LEDs for more dynamic lighting effects, as well as new sensors that can respond to environmental changes such as light, sound, or motion. These possibilities could make the wearable more interactive and adaptable to different users and contexts.

Conclusion

This week, I’ve been thinking a lot about how important it is to protect my work because I feel it’s a key step for the growth and future success of my project. Protecting my ideas helps make sure that all the effort and creativity I’ve put in are recognized and respected. At the same time, it allows me to share my work with others in a responsible way. As I look at the possibilities for my project and ways to improve it, I’m also trying to find the right balance between being open and keeping control. That’s why I’m exploring different licensing options that encourage collaboration and innovation but still make sure I get proper credit and maintain some control over how my work is used.
