1st step get the files ready via Modsproject

Modsproject flow Modsproject settings

  • Open https://modsproject.org/
  • Right click select programs -> open program - > Select MDX-mill PCB
  • Select png file
  • Change origin x to 0
  • Change origin y to 0
  • Turn on input outgut to file save file
  • Turn off input output to webserial

  • Select mill traces 1/64”

  • Save the rml file.

Get the Modela MDX- 20 Ready

  • View mode
  • Put the 1/64 inch bit

Open Roland MDX20 Control Panel (SimplyFab-20)

SimplyFab-20

  • Select COM port 4 (C)
  • Select the point to zero the Z
  • Click on Z0
  • Lower down the bit
  • Click around 12 times on Z up
  • Select point for xy
  • Press Set xy
