SALVADOR FABACADEMY

  • LATEST PROJECTS
Since six months ago, I have started working on projects related to computer science and additive manufacturing. The most notable projects I have done are in three different areas: machine learning, IoT, and 3D printing.

    AI Scrub Nurse
This project was developed by a team of four mechatronic engineering students and one biomedical engineering student. We were able to classify instruments into: scalpel, forceps, curved scissors, and straight scissors. The idea is to integrate it with a collaborative robot to move the instruments to the surgeon's hand.

    Smart Piggy Bank
This project was developed in collaboration with an electronic engineering student. The final product was a piggy bank capable of classifying coins, sending the information to Firebase, and displaying the total savings amount along with savings projections on a web app, all with a Minecraft theme.

    Raspberry Pi Case
I made this Raspberry PI case as a hobby based on a GrabCAD model. I modified it slightly and manufactured it using 3D printing.

    MECHATRONICS E

I am passionate about the physical sciences and their applications in engineering. I hope to explore someday the integration of robotic systems with machine learning to provide robots with a certain level of autonomy, at least enough to incorporate them into the daily life of modern societies. Please take the time to view this site on your desktop; I made it from scratch with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript without frameworks.
