  • Assemble casing and button
  • Design electronic PCB
  • Components arrive
  • Solder and test components
  • Test PCBs with components
  • Have the button casings working

Remaining Tasks

  • Spring mechanism
  • ESP NOW communication protocol
  • Interface

What has worked?

Most things have worked well. Regarding the design, the casing fits well with the spring mechanism, and I like the hexagonal design.

As for the electronics, the batteries can satisfactorily power the entire circuit without any issues. The size is adequate for the PCB to fit perfectly in the casing.

what questions need to be resolved?

How long does the battery last?

How much does light refract?

What mini-games and settings can be applied?

what have you learned?

Learning Experience

The learning I've had has been impressive. Regarding design, it was very enriching to learn from the basics about how to use Fusion (coming from CATIA) to create a parametric design, including 3D printing. I had never printed so much in 3D with a filament called PTEG, and I discovered that I like printing.

As for the electronics, I am impressed with the progress I've made. All the theoretical knowledge from my engineering classes I was able to put into practice. Designing a PCB, searching for components, MAKING MY OWN PCB, and seeing how an idea turned into something tangible that works is an indescribable feeling.
