DISSEMINATION PLAN
This project started as a personal desire to create a physical artifact that could remind people of the importance of introspection and knowing themselves. Therefore, being something very personal, all the development was based on me, the only user interested so far, however, that does not mean that it is entirely so.
My project is focused on people who seek to know themselves, and struggle with that a bit, so they need a reminder more present than what could be a notification on their cell phone. For example, within Ibero Puebla there is an area focused on Ignatian life within the university, which promotes self-knowledge from inner experience, so it seems to me that it could be the ideal place to start doing an ethnographic task, with people who might be interested in using my product.
After seeing if it really has potential in a specific niche, I would start thinking about production and ways of commercialization, although for now I see this step as a bit distant and somewhat costly, because first I would have to optimize the production processes.
I also have to emphasize that so far I have not been able to develop the speaker that I had planned at the beginning, so it seems to me that I could implement it to add the auditory sense and gradually develop a more complete experience around the "Enneagram Light". In addition to this, I would like to enrich the application, and add an answer bank where you can enter the answers of users, and personally, according to the answers of each one, the application can say what number would be the person according to the enneagram.
For now, being a personal project I would not seek a license as such (at least not in Mexico), if anything I think I would try to register the body of the project as an industrial design before the IMPI, because it seems to me that it could be a distinctive that was calling much attention while I was developing it, and finally because it is only the drawing composed by the combination of figures and lines taken to the three-dimensional with the only ornamental purpose that gives the project a particular aspect.
Despite this, I wanted to consider a free and simple way to grant permissions for this project, so I came to "Creative Commons", where I chose a license of "Attribution 4.0 International" , whose terms are as follows:
You are free to:
Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
Adapt: remix, transform, and buils upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.
Under the following terms:
Attribution: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made . You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
No additional restrictions: You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.
Basically what it says is that as long as the authorship of the original idea is acknowledged, you can copy, modify, change, etc., but always giving credit, that is enough.
