ABOUT ME

#

Hi! I'm Gabriela Tamanis Coatl. I'm an Industrial Design student at the University Ibero Puebla in Mexico and I'm currently in my 8th semester. Although I wasn't always sure what I wanted to study, from the moment I met industrial design I fell in love with the prototyping stage, so I'm actually very excited about everything I'll be able to learn to implement it in my professional career.

I believe in a changing world, that after constant evolution can go to a better place than the one we came from. And for that I believe that technology can be a great tool as long as it is used wisely (in fact, I tell you this from someone who decided his college career thanks to instagram, blessed technology). And I think that's why I'm here, when I decided to study Industrial Design I wondered how I could contribute to the world, and in my degree I found that I can be able to help people in their day to day life through my designs; with that I can feel that I'm fulfilling my purpose. I am grateful for this new opportunity to learn new tools that will allow me to impact people's lives in a positive way.

Previous work

Throughout my university career I have been able to develop skills in technical sketching, prototyping, three-dimensional modeling, and others. My possible focuses (for the moment) are product design, and if I could specialize in prototyping it would be wonderful (I love that ideas start to take shape physically) and interior design.

You may be wondering what this cute kitty is doing here. The short answer is that it's my personal reminder to check the page schedule every time I move forward. On one occasion although locally I could see the images in this specific section, online they were not showing up....

After investigating for a while what was going on, I realized that I had been setting the programming of my photos wrong...

And even though it had been working that way, there was a time when this whole section was not showing up. Check this kitty to make sure your photo scheduling is right!
