APPLICATIONS AND IMPLICATIONS


What will I do?


My project will be a luminescent object that will help people remember to give themselves a moment to introspect and be with themselves. It does this by displaying a different question each day on an OLED screen, and will gradually turn on 9 levels of light until it reaches the top, where it will light up according to the enneagram. In addition to that, I hope to be able to implement a speaker, which I can control through an application on the cell phone.


Who's done what beforehand?


It seems to me that there may be countless lamps with an organic body, however, I could not find one with an integrated shade besides the following project:


What will you design?


  • I will design the two PCB's of the project

  • The cylindrical spiral base that will contain the LED strip

  • The body of the object

  • The base where all the electronics will be

  • The way in which the body and the base will be joined

What questions need to be answered?


  • How will all the components be accommodated inside the base, leaving enough space for the power converter to pass air?

  • How will a "locking" system be made to assemble the base and the body of the project?

  • How will the boards connect and communicate with each other?

  • How will everything connect and work with the designed interface?


How will it be evaluated?


  • Checking the communication between boards

  • Approving the level and quality of the speaker audio

  • Checking communication between interface and board
