About me

Hello, I'm Cristóbal López Apango, a passionate 23-year-old student currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronic Engineering at the Iberoamerican University in Puebla, Mexico. My fascination lies in prototyping, design, and, to some extent, programming. My academic journey and practical experience have allowed me to explore the integration of mechanics, electronics, and computing, driving me to contribute meaningful innovations in the field of engineering. Outside the classrooms, I thrive on facing creative challenges, transforming ideas into tangible solutions. My meticulous approach and commitment to excellence are reflected in every project I undertake. Additionally, I am passionate about staying updated with the latest trends and emerging technologies, enabling me to address problems with a fresh and ever-evolving perspective. I am excited about the opportunities that the field of mechatronic engineering offers and look forward to contributing to the development of projects that make a difference in our society.

Hobbies

As hobbies, I enjoy playing sports such as soccer, swimming, and tennis. If we consider bowling as a sport, I also love playing it. Additionally, I find great joy in taking my pets (dogs) for walks; currently, I have 10 of them. I also love going out to eat, shopping, and partying with my friends.

why fab academy ?

I chose Fab Academy because I feel it's a fantastic opportunity to enhance my curriculum. Additionally, I am passionate about and intrigued by the concept behind Fab Academy—from the community to the program's structure, guiding the process of creating a project from scratch, and the potential to support and possibly impact thousands of people, changing their lives. Throughout this journey, I also anticipate significant personal learning and growth.

Projects

I have worked on various university projects, such as:

Adafruit-controlled maze with movement
Automated conveyor belt system with a cylindrical robot
