About

Hi, I'm Brenda Sofía Pastrana Monzón, I'm a student of Biomedical Engineering at IBERO Puebla in Mexico. I'm 20 years old and I'm in my sixth semester, I'm studying Biomedical Engineering because I really like the character of Iron Man and I think that if someday it can be developed, it will be possible having the studies I'm taking. I have been practicing taekwondo for a little more than 9 years, one of the activities I enjoy the most is reading although sometimes I get so immersed that I forget the time, which by the way my current recommendation is Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros.

I have been practicing Taekwondo for almost 9 years, and I have been learning German for 1 year.

At the bottom of the page you will find ways to contact me on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Mail and Snapchat.

Previous work

One of the projects I have done was a biped robot, initially it was to simulate an exoskeleton, but in the end it only remained as a biped because we wanted to simulate the gait cycle, which is much more complex than we can imagine. The name of the biped robot was Pinocho.

Another project I did was a small car controlled by PWM and with the ability to receive commands via Bluetooth interface. The name of the car was Ramona.

I also participated in the creation of a device called Bioarmband, which consisted of using a temperature sensor MLX90614, and the Max30102 sensor to create a device with pulse rate and estimates of SpO2 - blood oxygen percentage.
