I usually introduce myself in a very formal way but this time I want to start differently by telling you a little about Silvana Tabata.
I like Peruvian food and I will post a picture of my favorite dishes. I am from the Peruvian jungle of Madre de Dios - Puerto Maldonado.


I was born and raised in this wonderful city full of trees, fruits and animals, I have 5 sisters, yes all women.
I lived in Madre de Dios until I was 11 years old then I moved to the The city of Arequipa, known as "The White City" is a cold climate and a very quiet city. I loved it! I studied all of my high school and university in Arequipa, where I was able to participate in various contests, social projects and international events and then moved to Lima where I currently live for work reasons.

In summary…

I am an electronic engineer with a specialization in telecommunications from the Santa María Catholic University, with a diploma in educational robotics, with a master's degree in technological management and innovation.
Specialized in STEAM development for girls and women, with more than 8 years of experience in teaching, developer of technological projects with digital and electronic manufacturing.
Director of the INGEBOT Academy that promotes educational robotics under the EcoSTEAM approach to children and adolescents.
Co-founder of Lima Garage Lab, a company focused on digital manufacturing and new technologies.
Professor coordinator of the innovation area of the Toulouse Lautrec professional institute.
Trainer at FABLAB PERÚ, on digital manufacturing and industry 4.0 topics.
Member of the international organization IEEE.
Vice President IEEE WIE Peru (women in engineering) where she organizes and manages events for students and professionals in their development as leaders with workshops, courses and talks.
