Dissemination Plan

In general, I could not find any description or patent for a artificial muscle tester in google patents. But, I do not think that the machine is a big new invention as any material tester can be an artificial muscle tester for McKibben muscles when you include a barometric sensor.

I have no dissemination or commercialization plan for the future, but I wish that anyone, can built this machine, if they want to. Additionally, anyone should be able to use my machine in the lab to test their artificial muscle.

Future Plans

This work can be used for testing McKibben muscles in our lab abd make improvements to the muscles to increase the strength e.g. by using other materials for the muscle.

Several improvements and changes can be implemented:

1. By making this machine more modular, transportation can be make easier and the machine can also be used in other labs more easily.
2. By having the ability to change the load cell and creating different mode in the interface, as well as, having a calibration option in the interface can make the tester more versitile and other types of artificial muscle could be tested additionally.
3. By including an airpump not manually used can improve the automation, but more safety systems are needed.

I chose the creative common license for my project to allow everyone the freedom to build my machine if they wish. This license ensures that anyone can use, modify, and distribute the design, making it accessible for all who are interested.

With their website it easy to choose the right license and get one.
