Cutting¶
most of the robot will be made from 6mm mdf. afterwards, we’ll engrave patterns on it to make it a little more beautiful. Two machines will be used: the Shopbot to cut all the robot parts, and the laser cutter to engrave the patterns.

We’ve uploaded an image of a cloud in the style of akatsuki, and this is the motif we plan to engrave.
- Open the image in Inkscape and then Ctrl+P
