Hello! I'm an artist and craftsperson who is naturally drawn to working across multiple genres.
I treat objects and images as containers of multiple histories and symbols; thus, a multimedia approach is essential to the way I think and create them.
My background in visual arts and film/video significantly influences my current practice.
I'm most interested in objects that draw us back to ourselves, that represent a slight break from our present reality and invite introspection through an openness of meaning. I want to explore the ways in which traditional and contemporary craft intersect with belief systems, rituals and fetishization and how we relate to one another through these objects.
