Welcome to our group assignment page for Fab’Academy 2023! This year, we are only 2 students at FabLab Sorbonne. We collaborate on the assignments and then each document our contributions individually.

Our task is to characterize our laser cutter’s focus, power, speed, rate, kerf, and joint clearance. We’ll be documenting our findings and methods on the group work page. Additionally, we’ll each share our personal insights and what we’ve learned on our respective individual pages.

Clara, in her documentation explained what is kerf in Laser cutting, and documented how to find the kerf for 8 different types of material we can find in a Fab Lab.
