Jorge Pazos

Hi! I am Jorge Pazos. I was born in Paris (France) from a portuguese mother and a spanish father.
I lived for 27 years in France before going to Bolivia (South America) where I live now.

I started my journey into the Fab Lab World with Ricardo Roman in Santiago of Chili at
the Alberto Blest Gana School's Fab Lab in 2019.

I went as a visitor to the Fab Lab Barcelona in 2020 where I met Santi Fuentemillas and Luciana Asinari.

I visited the museum of future in Dubai in 2022 and saw the 1st 3D printed comercial building.

And I had the privilege to be at the Bali Fab Fest on October 2022.

Since last August 16th, we created our own FabLab within the UNIFRANZ University in Santa Cruz where I'm the Manager.

We where thrilled to receive the visit of Santi Fuentemillas from Fab Lab Barcelona, Beno Juarez from Fab Lab Lima
and Delia Barriga from Fab Lab Women during UNIFRANZ's Futures Week®.

VR Experience

I was one of the lucky people who won a Samsung VR Gear for buying the Samsung S7. Since then I evolved to the Oculus Rift S and now the Oculus Quest 2.
In 2020 while being in Barcelona, I started the Deusto Formation course on AR, VR and XR. I learned to use autodesk Maya and Unity to create apps.

Fab Academy

This Fab Academy Training will be handy to be the Fab Lab Manager at the University. We are the first Fab Lab open to the public in the country
with gender based purpose. We want to bring more women to the tech world.

While working with futurists from all around the world and young local people on the Futures Week®, we saw a full potential within those kids and
we want to help them to be able to create the future that they want and need.
