About me

Hi! I am Michael. I studied biology and wrote my Phd in the fields of biomimicry. In this field I also worked as a scientific researcher for many years. Little by little the technical side of biomimicry became more and more exciting for me. Since my Phd at the university of Aachen I was a frequent user of the first FabLab in Germany. I was very excited about the possibilites at the Fablab and startet to learn how to lasercut, 3D print, using cutting machines and much more. But the wish rised to learn "how to do (almost) anything". So I decided to take part in the FabAcademdy and to work at the Fablab in Bottrop.
