Since I am a renewable energy engineer, I would like my final project related to my major. Two of the numerous issues facing PV systems are regular cleaning of the accumulation of dust and dirt and the orientation of the panels. The principal goal of this project is to increase the photovoltaic (PV) efficiency by introducing a cost-effective tacking and cleaning system.
This cost-effective system consists of three main parts, which are a digital water container, sunlight sensors, and a frame with a hinge joint. Firstly, the digital water container allows the water to flow when the panel is perpendicular to the ground to minimize the used electricity to clean the PV. Secondly, two sunlight sensors will be fixed in the upper corners of the PV while attached to the hinge-joint-frame to track the sun's movement.
