Hi! I’m Janet. Educator, engineer, maker enthusiast.

Here’s a (very basic) site to document my trials & tribulations here in Fab Academy 2022.

My background¶

I like hats, and I’ve worn many: structural engineer (hard hat), educator (thinking cap), librarian (cat in the hat), endurance cyclist (helmet), and maker (overdesigned prototype of esoteric head covering that kind of sort of works). I am excited to see how many more I can acquire.

Previous work¶

I like making things. And I like helping people make things. Bringing folks together to exchange skills and share stories gives me warm fuzzies. Here are some things I did before now.
