Final Project Brainstorming

The project discussion with the local instructors led me to list out several project ideas:
1. Air quality module
2. Lux meter
3. Building Measurement device (Conservation of Building)
4. Seismic wave sensor
5. Checkpoint Management Device
6. Sunlight Tracking Device

After much discussion and deliberation with the local instructors, I decided to opt for option no. 6

Checkpost Management Device

Due to surge in Covid-19 cases in Bhutan, the Royal Government of Bhutan strictly monitors the movement of People from one pace to another by establishing checkpoints in various locations. Government has developed a website to register the driver and the passengers, however, the policeman on duty takes a lot of time to verify the people registered. Hence, it takes a lot of time to pass through one checkpoint to especially during rush hours.
Therefore, I intend to make a device which can be used to detect the car passing by and along with it the number of people traveling in it.

Project Idea

I am not really sure about all the components and design requirements. However, I will keep on updating the information and components required.
